Title: Working with data matrixes
Post by: arantx28 on February 16, 2016, 08:48:44 AM
Hello everyone!

I looked it up at the forums but I didn't find an answer...

We are currently working in untargeted metabolomics and we would like to know whether it is possible or not to work in XCMS with data matrixes files (*.xls, *.txt, *.peaklist,...) instead of raw data files (e.g., *.wiff) because we have already treated the data and it would be a shame to get this work lost and/or doing it again.

Thank you very much  :)

The main task of XCMS is to get you from data raw to a data matrix. So you probably need to explain what you would like to achieve before anyone can answer your question.
