Not directly but when I asked from those who have done it, seems simple enough. You take small block, wet the sample using water and then you can do chloroform/Methanol or acetonitrile extraction (same as tissue or cell). Short term stable as room temperature but you have some degradation overlong term storage at room temperature.
it that something which integrates/checks while data acquired on an instrument? or something on the data side only, post acquisition, that you are thinking about. For the later part there are some softwares, depending on the technology that can have mean to asses the quality of the data.
