Research Assistant/Associate
The Research Assistant/Associate – Metabolomics will be responsible for assisting in automation of analytical pipelines, method development and implementation and equipment maintenance/troubleshooting in support of diverse projects in metabolomics and protein science studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for execution of multiple analyses using a variety of analytical equipment (HPLC, LC/MS-MS, GC, GC-MS, NMR, NIR, etc.) for development of metabolomics, protein chemistry, molecular biology, and plant biochemistry methods. The successful candidate will also be responsible for interfacing with strain development, biochemistry, fermentation, and BioAg groups.

Qualifications
This role requires a high level of technical knowledge of analytical pipeline automation for metabolomics, protein chemistry, organic chemistry, molecular biology, and/or plant biochemistry R&D.  A B.S. in biochemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, molecular biology, plant biochemistry or related disciplines plus two years of relevant experience, or a M.S. and relevant experience, is required. The candidate must have a strong track record of successful method development and implementation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The successful candidate must be a team player.
