MS-DIAL -HDMSE dataprocessing problem

Dear all,

I am very excited to analyze my samples, which are acquired in LC-ion mobility-MSE (LC-HDMSE) using MS_DIAL 4.16 version. However, as I start to generate a new project and load ".abf" files, it doesn't show anything on the next page. I am following the steps in online tutorial and not sure what I am doing wrong.  thank you so much for your help.

Hi Fereshteh,

the abf converter does not work for ion mobility data. Instead, please use "IBF converter": you can find it in the same folder of MS-DIAL program. MS-DIAL supports the ibf format file as the input for ion mobility data processing.

Thank you so much for your prompt response! I converted the ".raw" files to ".ibf" files; however, it still doesn't show anything on the next page of a "new project window".

I will be happy to share more information or my data files if it helps to figure out the problem.

Thank you so much! Here are the screenshots of the steps that I applied. The data files are acquired in ion mobility profiling mode with ramping collision energy from 25 to 65 eV at the transfer region of TWIMS.

Hi,

for last step (step 3), did you click "browse" button for selecting ibf files?
